About the Workshop
Do you have a crazy idea about machine learning? Have you figured out AGI? or an algorithm to generate personalized memes? Pitch your crazy idea in this ICML social.
Organizers
Format
Every speaker would give a 2-minute presentation/pitch to the audience. We can increase the 2 minute limit to 5-10 minute if needed. We will keep two categories of pitches - i) Solution for something crazy, and ii) Crazy "What if" question. The goal is to keep the session lighthearted, fun, and intellectually stimulating at the same time.
Most of our ideas of this social are inspired from the annual festival of learning at the MIT Media Lab and the rump session at the Crypto conference.
This ICML social will be following ICML's Code of Conduct and hence the talk is supposed to adhere to it.
Some potential examples include -
Solving the big problems with ML:
Journal/conference of rejected papers/ideas
Making people's speech funnier and less offensive
Fixing the peer review system for ML conferences
